Kateřina Vondrová Title: The Influence of the Use of Modern Technologies on the Dexterity of the Hands of Healty Czech Adult Population Abstract: Manual dexterity is activity, which is based on the ability to control the movement and strength of the fingers. Many aspects impact dexterity, including the use of modern technologies. These have become part of our daily lives and have changed the way we perform many activities. Therefore, I consider it important to address this context within occupational therapy. The main aim of this thesis is to determine whether there is a causal relationship between the use of modern technologies and manual dexterity in a healthy Czech adult population in the age range of 20 to 64 years. A secondary aim is to map the extent and pattern of modern technology use in the same research sample. In this pilot study 208 probands participated. Each proband completed a questionnaire. They were asked how much time they spend using a computer, mobile phone, tablet and how they use these electronics. After that, they were tested with the Nine Hole Peg Test. Influence of the natural environment on the development of motor and cognitive abilities of preschool age.

This work deals with the effect the natural environment on the development of motor and cognitive abilities of preschool age. The aim is to determine the effect of education in the natural environment to the level of motor skills and knowledge of preschool children. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of preschool age. Acquaints with the development of motor skills and their training in the natural environment. It also deals with the cognitive component of the preschool child's personality and the possibilities of its development in the countryside. Zooms problems of education in a forest environment, types of learnin and methods of training in the various components of the child's personality just in a forest. The practical part is a qualitative research method used is a questionnaire survey among kindergarten teachers to determine the most commonly used educational environment, the method standardized test for 4-6-year old children to determine the level of motor skills of the children, and the method of diagnostic interview, which examined the effect of natural environments on children's knowledge. Results in agreement with reported literature confirm the positive influence of education in the natural environment for the development of several components of the child's personality.

The effect of social organization of games on the orientation in their moral dimension - revision of research done by E. Kuruczová

The author is reviewing the research that E. Kuruczová demonstrated in her diploma thesis called The effect of social organization of games on the orientation in their moral dimension. The main goal of the diploma thesis Kuruczová developed another contribution to Piaget's theory of the development of moral reasoning of school-age children. Piaget's empirical data suggested that social organizations could influence orientation in their moral dimensions. Kuruczová found that in her 180 children from one school (aged 1st - 9th grade) the development of orientation in the moral dimension of the game King of Deer Hunters (organized as a competition) performs ahead of the development of orientation in the moral dimension of the game Hot Potato (organized as a collaboration). Furthermore, in the research, children of Kuruczová think about the stories of unjust play situations organized by "Mrs. Teacher". Even the youngest and unoriented did not argue the evaluation of the situation as a fair authority of the teacher - which, according to Piaget's theory, could assume the key role of the criterion of obedience of authority in the heteronomous understanding of the criteria of moral evaluation. TITLE: Influence of swimming on increasing flexibility as a component of the desterity of primary school pupils in the Louny region. AUTHOR: Bc. Veronika Benková DEPARTMENT: Department of physical education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Irena Svobodová ABSTRACT The aim of this thesis is to find out how basic swimming training taking place in Louny region affects joint mobility in children of younger school age and at the same time, compare the results of the measured group with similar, already conducted research from 2015 and 2018. In order to get results, proven joint mobility tests are used. Testing will take place twice in total; before the beginning and at the end of the swimming training, e. g. after the end of the ten two-hour lessons period. This research will be conducted for about ten weeks. Testing will take place at two primary schools. The test persons were divided according to gender into boys and girls, as well as whether they are non-swimmers and swimmers. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of younger school age, motor skills - especially joint mobility, swimming training and swimming. The effect of social organization of games on the orientation in their moral dimension

1 ABSTRACT The author is following up on Bachelor's thesis called School aged children and their moral judgment in the case of social games. Main topic of this thesis was to explore key drivers of moral orientation with focus on influence of type of game organization followed by influence of the adult authority and complexity of rules. The objective of this thesis was to extend Piaget's theory with new learnings from this area. Stories with unjust situation leading to apply justice of equity were composed to evaluate moral orientation. Main method used was clinical interview as part of which we led the discussion with children. Various types of game organizations were games organized as competition, games organized as cooperation, passing bully role, and cooperation. All these games had a common dexterity type of object throw with body contact. Experiment sample consisted of 180 primary school children with comparable representation of boys and girls, aging from 6 to 15 years (20 children from each class). For children in our sample the analysis outcomes have shown that adult authority doesn't present an obstacle to think independently. Influence of swimming on increasing flexibility as a component of the dexterity of basic pupils schools.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to observe the influence of articular mobility through swimming lessons in younger school age children. Verified articulated mobility tests are used for these findings. Testing will take place twice, at the beginning and at the end of the swimming training over the course of one half-year. Testing will be done in two groups of children. The first group consists of students who participate in compulsory swimming lessons. The second group consists of children regularly taking part in swimming training in the swimming section in Brandýs nad Labem. In addition, people divided into swimmers and non-swimmers, and into boys and girls, were tested. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the characteristics of motor abilities with focus on flexibility, characteristics of younger school age children and swimming training and swimming. The practical part consists of a description of the experiment and analysis of the results of the individual flexibility tests. The results of the work have shown that swimming is an appropriate means of developing flexibility. Improvements in all the groups studied were confirmed. Younger school aged children and their moral judgement

As the title indicates, our thesis focuses on the moral judgment of children. In analogy to the diploma thesis of Eliška Kuruczová, we as well used situations of social games and stories about lying and unfair authority. The main source for our thesis was Jean Piaget's The moral judgment of the child, published published in 1932, in which Piaget presented the results of his interviews with children. In his research, Piaget stated that moral judgment within dimension of game rules is more complex and requires higher level of orientation in moral issues. But Piaget considers games in general as a competition because of social organization and that's a meeting point where Eliška Kuruczová's bachelor thesis follows on. This thesis examines how different social organization of games influences moral orientation in the issue of games. Thanks to this thesis, which our thesis is based on, we could focus on other questions in Piaget's research that remained unanswered, eg. whether there is a link between the level of orientation in social games and the age of children, or what type of game social organization is the most / least difficult for children's orientation.
